Sleeping in a coffin is more comfortable than on a bed – Musician

Renowned Nigerian singer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, candidly shared his peculiar lifestyle choices.

The 73-year-old artist disclosed that he has a coffin in his house where he occasionally spends hours sleeping.

Co-host Ezinne probed further, questioning the singer about this unusual habit, to which Charly Boy simply responded, “Yes.”

In addition to his unconventional sleeping arrangements, Charly Boy opened up about his marital life, revealing that he has remarried his wife more than three times.

Indifferent to the significance of sex, he expressed a nonchalant attitude towards the matter.

The veteran singer also reminisced about his impactful role in revolutionizing Nigerian music during his tenure as President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN).

Charly Boy proudly recounted warning corporate bodies against paying artists less than one million Naira during his leadership, emphasizing his commitment to the welfare of fellow musicians.

Charly Boy made these submissions on the recent episode of The Honest Bunch.

Charly Boy, also known as CB, His Royal Punkness, and Area Fada is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, television presenter, actor, publisher, activist and producer.

One of Nigeria’s most controversial entertainers, he is best known for his alternative lifestyle, political views, and media productions, most notably The Charly Boy Show.

He has served as president of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, and in 2011 was an Idol Series judge.
