Photos of Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene have taken social media by storm, showcasing his swift recovery following a recent accident at Achimota.
The circulating images portray a reassuring scene, indicating the musician’s well-being as he engages in lively conversations surrounded by friends and loved ones, with his hand visibly bandaged.
He is receiving treatment steadily at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).
Despite the recent ordeal, Kuami Eugene’s determination is evident as he swiftly returns to his professional duties, demonstrating resilience and a strong spirit amidst adversity.
On March 17, involved in an accident that reportedly left him with a broken arm.
Local news outlets report that the musician who was driving a Range rover rammed him into a tipper truck at CP, close to the DSTV office towards the Dzorwulu traffic light in Accra.
According to an eyewitness, the tipper truck was in motion but moving slowly when the musician crashed into it from behind. He believes the lack of visibility due to lack of street lights is to blame.
According to him, the artiste appears to have broken his arm as a cut was visible with blood on his hands. He also had a cut on his lips, the leg and an injury in the hip.
“I was behind him, and so I was the first person to rush to his rescue. Kwame was struggling to come out so I brought him out of the car and helped the passenger too, before some guys also came around. I arranged for a vehicle to convey them to the UGMC hospital, ” Editor for Modern Ghana news portal, Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri who is said to have witnessed the accident recounted.
