In an exclusive interview with Eastern Eye, veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo delves into the intriguing aspects of some of his movie roles, specifically those that involve him inside a coffin.
The seasoned thespian reveals that when tackling roles that require him to be in a coffin, he does not undergo any purification rituals or engage in binding unseen spirits.
According to Kanayo, he believes that the gift bestowed upon him by God eliminates the need for such preparations to portray these unique and challenging characters.
He said: “God gave me a talent. When I’m playing a role in a movie that involves going into a coffin. I do not sanctify myself or start binding unseen forces. I just play my role and get out. #KOKisOK”.
His statements have since sparked massive reactions from the public.
