Popular Nigerian afrobeat musician Davido has sparked reactions after interacting with Jazlyn, a well-known teenage interviewer and giving her her first daughter’s name, Imade.
Jazlyn urged Davido to give her a Nigerian name during the interview, and the musician responded by comparing the young journalist to his first daughter and giving her the name Imade in that country.
He said; “You remind me a lot of my daughter, Imade, I feel like you are very advanced, your parents should be proud of you.
A lot of people your age are not doing what you doing. I’ll give you Imade, it is a nice name. Tell people you have a Nigerian name Davidi gave you.”
Jazzy in her reaction, appreciated the singer for giving her new Nigerian name, same as his first daughter, Imade Adeleke.
The lovely video has attracted lots of emotional reactions from netizens, who praised Davido for his thoughfulness with the name.
