She released the song on February 6, 2024, coinciding with the day of the earthquake in Turkey, where she tragically lost her husband and father of her three children.

In a statement on social media, she said, “This is a very emotional day already for me and my Family, so many emotions but I know he’ll be proud of me that I didn’t put my head down. He is watching over us. This is for you up there.”

Christian Atsu was discovered deceased on the morning of Saturday, February 18, 2022, at the location of his collapsed apartment, twelve days following a severe earthquake that struck regions of Turkey and Syria.

The 31-year-old, prior to his passing, had represented the Black Stars in 65 matches after his debut in an international friendly against Lesotho at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in 2012.
