Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo made a grand gesture for his mother, Maria Dolores Aveiro, during her 69th birthday celebrations. The former Real Madrid and Manchester United star, upon returning home, spared no expense to treat his beloved mother.
In a touching moment on New Year’s Eve, Ronaldo presented her with a new Porsche Cayenne as a birthday gift.
The emotional surprise moved Maria Dolores Aveiro to tears, especially when she was led to the car by Ronaldo’s son, Cristiano Jr.
Ronaldo made a midnight journey from Saudi Arabia to be with his mother on December 31 in Madeira for her birthday celebration.
His sister, Katia Aveiro, later shared images on social media capturing the moment when Ronaldo surprised Maria Dolores with the new Porsche Cayenne.
The entire gathering was left in awe by this unexpected and generous birthday gift.
Katia also praised Ronaldo for his kindness in a message to her Instagram followers, stating: “If she is happy, it is because her son remembers her and not because of the value of the gift.
Honour your father and your mother and your days on earth will be long.”
Ronaldo is now set for a brief hiatus from football to spend time with his family.
His Saudi Pro League team, Al-Nassr, is not scheduled to play again until early February when they face off against Al Feiha in the AFC Champions League.
The 38-year-old center-forward concluded the year 2023 with a total of 54 goals for both club and country. This impressive tally included a goal in Al-Nassr’s final Saudi Pro League match against Al-Taawoun.
