Former Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Charlotte Osei, has been named the chairperson of the Planning Committee for the 2024 Oguaa Fetu Festival.
The appointment was announced through a post by the Cape Coast Oguaa handle on the X platform, highlighting Osei’s roots as a native of Essuekyir Ahenfie, Cape Coast.
“Mrs @char_osei appointed by Oguaahen as Chairwoman of the Planning Committee for this year’s Oguaa Fetu Afahye. She’s from Essuekyir Ahenfie in Cape Coast. Launch of this year’s Fetu Afahye is on the 9th of May 2024 at Ato Austin Gardens,” the post read.
The launch will signal the commencement of what promises to be a significant festival.
