Entertainment Pundit, Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A Plus, is questioning the ability of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) to break the 8 when the country is currently faced with frequent power outages.
“Can you break the 8 with power outages? Yet they (New Patriotic Party members) get triggered when they are told the truth, is this not stupidity? Why should there be power outages in this country?” he quizzed.
He urged Ghanaians to refrain from passivity when it comes to demanding that the government addresses citizens’ concerns.
Adding that the importance of active engagement, stating that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, with only a few months left in his tenure, appears indifferent to the plight of ordinary citizens.
A Plus criticized Akufo-Addo’s presidency as a deception and expressed frustration over the president’s apparent disregard for pressing issues.
“Nigeria’s case has worsened because of passiveness, we will never be silenced. At this point, everyone should forget about Akufo-Addo, he cares less; the youth, old folks and workers must rise and make demands.
“If you rely on Akufo-Addo, he would disappoint you. He is seeing out his term, he has scammed everyone. He begged for votes, today he says chiefs should stand to greet him.
“He is done, and is now sitting on a high horse without regard for anyone, he is done and has gone tone deaf with few months to the end of his tenure. He doesn’t care whether you sleep in darkness or whatever,” A Plus submitted.
Former ally turned outspoken critic, A Plus, voiced his opinions on the April 27, 2024 episode of the weekly entertainment program, United Showbiz on UTV, hosted by MzGee.
