Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, with a capacity of 5,000 and the home ground of Bechem United, a Ghana Premier League team, is currently undergoing extensive renovations in preparation for the upcoming season.
The stadium is receiving a thorough makeover, including the repainting of all seats and the replacement of any damaged ones. Additionally, the dressing rooms and other administrative offices are being given a fresh coat of paint.
Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park has been officially approved as one of the venues by the Club Licencing Board, ensuring it meets the necessary standards for the new Ghana Premier League season.
In the 2022/23 season, Bechem United finished in third place with 54 points, and they are determined to surpass last season’s performance under their new manager, Bismark Kobby Mensah.
To conclude their pre-season preparations, Bechem United will engage in a friendly match against Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park in Dormaa on Wednesday, September 6, at 3:00 pm.
In their first fixture of the upcoming season, Bechem United will travel to Nana Professor Koromansa II Park in Nosatre to take on Nsoatreman on Sunday, September 17.
