Vice President Dr. Bawumia and Sammi Awuku, alongside other prominent figures of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), made a spirited appearance at the Akwaaba Village in Accra to express their solidarity with Afua Asantewaa Aduonum.

Brandishing Ghana flags, Dr. Bawumia and NPP leaders enthusiastically joined the cheering crowd, showcasing their unwavering support for Afua Asantewaa Aduonum in her ambitious pursuit.

The accomplished broadcast journalist has set an ambitious goal of four days and nine hours, commencing from December 24, aiming to surpass the existing record held by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare. Waghmare’s impressive singing marathon of 105 hours from March 3 to March 7, 2012, sets a formidable benchmark, with his record standing at an impressive 102 hours.
