Barcelona is actively searching for an alternative to their 35-year-old striker, Robert Lewandowski, and Diario Sport has compiled a comprehensive list of forwards that have piqued the interest of the La Liga giants.
At the top of their list is Manchester United’s Anthony Martial, a 27-year-old Frenchman, despite his recent struggles to make an impact for the Red Devils this season, having played just 221 Premier League minutes without scoring.
Another candidate is Artem Dovbyk, a 26-year-old who has impressed with five LaLiga goals and two assists since joining high-flying Girona.
Mehdi Taremi, a 31-year-old from Porto, may draw interest due to his contract expiring in the summer, while Juventus’ 23-year-old Moise Kean is being considered for his physicality and experience.
Barcelona is also looking at youthful options in 19-year-old Evan Ferguson from Brighton & Hove Albion and 18-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko from Borussia Dortmund.
They are exploring the potential signing of Feyenoord’s 22-year-old Mexico international Santiago Giménez, who has scored 15 goals this season.
Victor Boniface, a 22-year-old from Bayer Leverkusen with 10 goals this season, and Serhou Guirassy, a 27-year-old from Stuttgart with 15 Bundesliga goals, are among the options under consideration.
The Premier League performances of 27-year-old Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa have also garnered Barcelona’s attention, as has the impressive form of 23-year-old Jonathan David from Lille.
The final name on their list is Victor Osimhen, a 24-year-old Nigerian international from Napoli who has continued his prolific goal-scoring form with six goals in eight Serie A appearances this season.
However, his potential transfer would come at a significant cost, around €150 million, a substantial sum for a financially strained club.
