Ghanaian actor, farmer, and politician John Dumelo emphasized the significant potential held by Ayawaso West Wuogon.
Dumelo pointed out that this particular constituency stands out for its concentration of eight tertiary institutions.
According to Dumelo, Ayawaso West Wuogon boasts a unique array of educational facilities, including UNIMAC (formerly Ghana Institute of Journalism), University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), Dominion University, Knutsford University College, University of Ghana Legon, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Accra College of Education, and a mapping school at 37.
Dumelo expressed his admiration for the constituency, stating, “ Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency is a very unique area with unique potential. It’s the only constituency with 8 tertiary institutions: UNIMAC formerly of Ghana Institute of Journalism, University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), Dominion university, Knutsford, Legon, GIMPA, Accra College of Education and a mapping school at 37.”
He also highlighted his ongoing efforts to collaborate on various developmental projects within the area, particularly focusing on initiatives with the tertiary institutions.
This declaration comes as Dumelo gears up to contest the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat, where he faces significant competition from Lydia Alhassan, a major contender in the upcoming elections.
