A woman in her 50s from Abura Asebu Kwamankese District of the Central Region was fatally shot by alleged armed robbers in Abura Dunkwa home.
According to information gathered by Kasapa News, Yaw Boagyan, Adwoa Sarfoa, the victim, was asleep on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at midnight when she heard gunshots at the back of her home.
She allegedly heard dogs barking and stones falling on her roof. Curiosity drove her to step outside to investigate, but when she did, she was tragically shot through the window.
When the victim shouted for help, her neighbours heard her and came to her aid, taking her to the Abura Dunkwa government hospital where she received medical attention.
The case has been reported to the Abura Asebu Police Station for investigation.
There have not yet been any arrests made.
