Alex Asamoah, a former forward for Asante Kotoko, has admitted that despite being sidelined for a long, he hasn’t given up playing football.
The former Ghana Premier League goal king reaffirmed his intention to play again soon in an interview with Angel TV.
He claims that despite being sidelined by an injury he sustained in the past, he is now fully recovered and prepared to play for any club.
“I have not retired from football yet, very soon, I will return to the pitch. I have been out for a while due to some injuries but now, I am fit and ready to play” he said.
The 37-year-old still remain the most expensive signing in the Ghana Premier League following his move from Ashantigold to Asante Kotoko in 2008.
He featured for a host of clubs domestically before departing for greener pastures.
