Claims have emerged suggesting that Baba Vanga, a blind Bulgarian mystic renowned for allegedly predicting significant global events, foresaw a nuclear catastrophe set to occur before the conclusion of 2023.

Despite Baba Vanga’s passing more than 25 years ago, several of her purported predictions have been attributed to later events. Now, her followers assert that she prophesied a catastrophic nuclear disaster for this year.

According to reports, Baba Vanga warned of a severe explosion at a nuclear power plant in 2023, leading to the dispersal of toxic clouds over Asia. These clouds are believed to pose a significant risk to other nations as they carry harmful diseases.

While it is important to approach such predictions with skepticism and critical thinking, the alleged foretelling by Baba Vanga has sparked interest and speculation among those who place faith in her prophecies. However, the validity and accuracy of these claims remain subjects of debate and interpretation.

Baba Vanga’s predictions for 2023

Aside from nuclear disaster, Baba Vanga made four other major predictions for 2023.

Firstly, she is said to have predicted that the Earth’s orbit will change.

While our planet’s orbit around the sun shifts marginally over tens of thousands of years, a more dramatic change would be devastating.

Baba Vanga is said to have forecasted a major nuclear power plant explosion happening before the end of this year.

A movement closer to the sun would melt glaciers and flood the planet, while a movement farther away could plunge us into an ice age.

Baba Vanga is also believed to have predicted a powerful solar storm that will rock the climate in 2023.

Solar storms are disturbances on the sun which can emanate outward across the heliosphere and impact Earth.

Some have interpreted her words to mean that a solar tsunami is coming, which could cause major technology failures — though minor solar storms occur fairly regularly without devastation.

The Bulgarian mystic is also said to have predicted that a biological weapon will be used by a superpower in 2023, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths.

Biological weapons are microorganisms like viruses, bacteria or fungi, or toxic substances produced by living organisms that are released to cause disease and death in humans, animals or plants.

They are banned by the Biological Weapons Convention.

Finally, Baba Vanga is believed to have foretold the end of natural pregnancies this year.

Her followers claim that all babies will be grown in laboratories, with states and medical experts deciding who gets one.

Parents, they say, will be able to choose traits like hair and eye color.

That’s a lot to happen in the seven months left of 2023!

What is the story of Baba Vanga?

Baba Vanga died in 1996 at the age of 75, but it is claimed that during her lifetime she predicted the COVID-19 pandemic, the September 11 attacks, the death of Princess Diana and the Chernobyl disaster.

As the legend goes, the mystic grew up on a farm in Romania and was blinded in a dust storm when she was 12 years old.

It was then, her followers claim, that she received a paranormal gift allowing her to see into the future.

What has Baba Vanga predicted?

Baba Vanga first shot to prominence after reportedly accurately predicting the sinking of the Kursk in 2000.

She claimed that in August 1999, “Kursk will be covered with water and the whole world will weep over it.”

The Russian nuclear sub sank 12 months after the date Vanga allegedly predicted, killing everyone on-board.

And in 1989, she apparently said: “Horror, horror!

“The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds.

“The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.”

Some say this relates to the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York.

What has Baba Vanga got wrong?

Thankfully, not all of Baba Vanga’s prophecies have been correct.

Experts who have researched her prophecies say 68 per cent are accurate, while her followers believe it to be about 85 per cent.

Among her incorrect predictions were that the 45th president of the US would be faced with a crisis which would “bring the country down.”

Donald Trump certainly faced some huge challenges while in office, but America is still standing.

Baba Vanga also wrongly predicted that the 1994 World Cup Final would be played by two teams with names beginning with “B” (the finalists were Brazil and Italy), as well as a nuclear war between 2010 and 2014 that didn’t eventuate.

The mystic is also said to have foretold the end of Europe in 2016.

That was the year that Britain voted to leave the pact, but Europe both as a continent and as a Union still very much exists.
