Comedian DKB recently criticized Gifty Afenyi-Dadzie, the National Prayer Director for Aglow International Ghana, for what he perceives as hypocrisy in her recent remarks about Ghana’s situation.

During Aglow’s mid-year thanksgiving service at the State House, Afenyi-Dadzie emphasized God’s goodness to Ghana despite ongoing challenges.

In response, DKB accused her of contributing to youth disinterest in the church, suggesting that similar sentiments were not expressed during previous administrations, such as Mahama’s.

He called her statement “rubbish.”

During the event, Afenyi-Dadzie acknowledged Ghana’s economic, power, water, and weather challenges but highlighted God’s preservation of peace and stability through His mercy.

She also noted that despite economic difficulties, traditional celebrations like marriages and birthdays continue.

The Aglow International Ghana’s thanksgiving service, primarily attended by women, includes prayers for the country’s leadership and government, seeking positive spiritual intervention.

Critics have pointed out a perceived shift in Aglow’s approach, being more critical of past administrations than the current one led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
