Three-year-old Nana Yaw, who tragically lost his life in a car crash involving Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has been laid to rest.

The incident occurred when Lil Win, allegedly driving at high speed, collided with a vehicle carrying Nana Yaw and his father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah.

Both were initially taken to a nearby hospital and later transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where the young boy succumbed to his injuries.

Mr. Ampomah, who sustained a leg fracture, received treatment at the hospital’s emergency unit.

The severely damaged vehicle is currently in police custody as part of the ongoing investigation.

A family member of the deceased expressed frustration in an interview with an Accra-based station, noting the lack of immediate attention given to the victims at the scene, with the focus instead being on the actor.

The family is considering legal action.

The crash occurred as Lil Win was en route to the premiere of his movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana,’ in Kumasi.

The actor has since expressed gratitude for his survival and made a public statement about the accident at the movie premiere, just hours after the tragic event.
