Former deputy general-secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has made allegations against the current National Chairman, Johnson Aseidu Nketia (General Mosquito).
Taking to the X platform, Mr Anyidoho accused Mr Nketia of engaging in actions that he deems hypocritical and self-serving.
Mr Anyidoho’s accusations are centered around what he perceives as inconsistencies in Mr Nketia’s behavior and a failure to uphold ethical standards within the party.
Specifically, Mr Anyidoho pointed out Aseidu Nketia’s past and present involvement with the Public Services Board (PSB), suggesting that despite holding different positions within the party, Aseidu Nketia continues to benefit from ties to the PSB.
Furthermore, he accused General Mosquito of inciting NDC supporters to protest against the government while simultaneously benefiting from governmental support himself.
Mr Anyidoho condemned Nketia for allegedly exploiting his position within the party to rally supporters against the very government that provides for him.
In addition to criticizing Mr Nketia’s actions, he implied complicity on the part of media figures who support Mr Nketia, suggesting that they too benefit from government resources while maintaining an appearance of independence.
“Greedy bastard! As General Secretary u were on PSB; as National Chairman u r on PSB. Yet you incite innocent NDC supporters to rally against the Govt that is feeding you. The media guys who support you r also chopping from Govt & they think we don’t know”, he wrote.
