A recent video circulating on social media has ignited a heated debate following a trader‘s candid revelation about his plans for a monthly salary of GHC7000, raising eyebrows and drawing criticism from various quarters.

In the video, the trader, whose identity remains undisclosed, was asked how he would utilise a monthly income of GHC7000.

Without hesitation, he expressed his intention to relocate to East Legon and spend his time leisurely with women.

The trader justified his decision by citing economic hardships prevalent in the country, suggesting that such substantial earnings necessitated a lifestyle upgrade.

He contrasted his proposed lifestyle with those earning lower salaries, asserting that while some may struggle with meagre incomes like GHC600, he would opt for a more luxurious and enjoyable existence, complete with air conditioning and socialising with women.

“If I earn GHC7000 monthly, I will relocate to East Legon, chill with girls. I will find some air conditioner and sit, relax, and have fun,” the trader boldly stated in the video.

The trader’s remarks have sparked controversy across social media platforms, with many condemning his priorities as inappropriate and unworthy of such a significant income.

Critics argue that his attitude reflects a lack of responsibility and a disregard for more meaningful or productive uses of wealth.
The video has since prompted discussions about financial literacy, personal values, and societal expectations regarding wealth management and ethical spending.
