A nurse identified as Alberta has met her untimely death allegedly at the hands of her fiancé in at town called Akyem Brenase, in the Eastern Region. The suspect, whose name has not been disclosed, reportedly struck Alberta with a club after accusing her of infidelity.

According to reports, Alberta and the suspect had been in a relationship for some time before the unfortunate incident occurred. Details emerging from the investigation suggest that this was not the first instance of violence in their relationship. Last year, the suspect allegedly poisoned Alberta, but she was saved by doctors at Akyem Ayirebi.

The sequence of events leading to Alberta’s death began when she fell ill recently and sought her boyfriend’s assistance in caring for her. Trusting him to provide support during her illness, Alberta invited the suspect to her home.

However, unbeknownst to Alberta, the suspect had allegedly devised a sinister plan to harm her. Instead of offering care and support, the suspect reportedly confronted Alberta, accusing her of being unfaithful. In a fit of rage, he is said to have struck her with a club, resulting in her immediate death.
