Ghanaian international Thomas Partey is on the verge of making his long-awaited return to action for Arsenal in 2024.
The highly-regarded midfielder has been sidelined since October 2023 due to an injury sustained while on duty with the Black Stars.
Despite being cleared to play multiple times upon his return to Arsenal, Partey has been unable to shake off a recurring issue, keeping him out of action for the past four months.
His absence has caused him to miss more than 20 matches.
However, there is positive news as Partey has shown significant progress in his recovery and is now actively participating in daily training sessions with his Arsenal teammates.
During a recent training session on Wednesday, February 28, Partey impressed both his teammates and the technical staff with his sharpness and movement.
He is set to undergo further assessment before Arsenal’s upcoming fixture against Sheffield United in the English Premier League, scheduled for Monday, March 4, 2024.
