Barcelona has unveiled unique El Clasico jerseys featuring the Rolling Stones logo on the front in preparation for their upcoming match against Real Madrid.
This distinctive design is a result of the club’s sponsorship agreement with Spotify and will prominently display the iconic Tongue and Lips logo.
This move is part of a promotional campaign as The Rolling Stones gear up to release their first original album in 18 years, titled ‘Hackney Diamonds,’ on Spotify, scheduled for October 20.
The unique jersey will also be donned by the Barca Femeni team when they face Sevilla at Estadi Johan Cruyff on November 5.
Following Barcelona’s partnership with Spotify, the club has engaged in collaborations with various musical sensations, such as ROSALiA, Drake, Daddy Yankee, and Pusha T.
“We’re huge football fans and honoured that Spotify has brought our Tongue and Lips logo to grace the FC Barcelona shirt to celebrate the release of the Stones’ new Hackney Diamonds album,” The Rolling Stones said about their special FC Barcelona shirt.
“We’ll be cheering on the players on the pitch as well as fans around the world who will be tuning in to watch this iconic match,” they added.
Prior to facing Real Madrid on October 28, Barcelona will play Athletic Club and Shakhtar Donetsk in La Liga and the Champions League, respectively.
