Nacho commented that Jude Bellingham “was born to play for Real Madrid” following the midfielder’s impressive performance, which included his sixth goal in as many games.
Bellingham’s goal secured a 1-0 victory for the LaLiga giants over Union Berlin in their opening Group C Champions League match.
The English midfielder, who made a €103 million move from Dortmund during the summer, capitalised on a loose ball in the six-yard box during the 94th minute at the Santiago Bernabeu. This late strike denied the Bundesliga side a point in their Champions League debut.
Jude Bellingham has now found the back of the net in five out of six appearances for Real Madrid, with his only goalless match being the 2-1 league victory over Real Sociedad last Sunday.
“I think Jude was born to play for Real Madrid,” club captain Nacho told Movistar. “We’re lucky to have him here with us. Let’s hope he keeps scoring goals.”
