The President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, has expressed his support for the President of the UN General Assembly’s request for countries to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the UN.

Rebelo de Sousa said that it’s simple to come here every year, say the same things, and not actually do what you promised.

“He kept saying that every year we waste time. And now, he thinks it’s time for the UN members to start making peace, working together, and fixing the unfairness in the world. ”
