4 hotel employees arrested in connection with murder of Jirapa Dubai owner

Five people have been arrested in connection with the murder of the murder of the Chief Executive Officer of Cossy Hill Hotel in Jirapa, Eric Johnson.

This was announced by the Ghana Police Service in a statement on social media.

The police initially picked up one suspect but in the latest update four more have been arrested.

The newly apprehended suspects, identified as Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, and Michael Klugey, all hotel employees, are currently in police custody, cooperating with the investigation alongside previously held suspect Kumbata Kwaku.

A police statement issued on Sunday, February 11, 2024, confirmed the arrests, stating, “The Ghana Police Service has today, on February 11, 2024, arrested four (4) more individuals in connection with the murder of Mr. Eric Johnson, the CEO of Cossy Hill Hotel in Jirapa, Upper West Region, bringing the total number of arrested suspects to five (5).”

The police reiterated their dedication to ensuring that all responsible parties face legal consequences as the investigation progresses.

The arrests come in response to earlier reports of Mr. Johnson’s tragic murder by unknown attackers. The police have been working diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident and bring those responsible to justice.
