Almost two weeks have gone by since Hamas unexpectedly attacked Israel. According to Israel, about 200 people were captured and held against their will. This is about 20 kids and at least 10 adults who are older than 60 years old.
On Friday nights, Jewish families all over the world gather together to have a special dinner called Shabbat. Tonight, many Israeli tables will be missing people who usually sit there.
A dinner table has been set up for the hostages at the plaza of the Tel Aviv Museum for Shabbat. There are 200 chairs that are not being used.
