It is was heart wrenching scene at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) when the remains of the late Christian Atsu arrived on Sunday night.
There was wailing by all who had gathered, particularly his family and fans. However, not all who had wished to be at the Airport managed to get there.
They in turn, turned to social media to extend their condolence and mourn the former Black Stars player.
