One reportedly dead in Avenor road accident due to traffic light malfunction

A collision between a motor rider and a pedestrian at Avenor, close to Circle, has allegedly led to the untimely death of one.

It is currently unknown who among the two individuals has reportedly lost his life.

A video on social media suggests that the motorcyclist hit the pedestrian as a result of a malfunctioning traffic light.

Netizens who have reacted to the incident are peeved about the government’s failure to ensure all traffic lights in the country, particularly at Avenor are functioning as expected.

A user, @Diayanj wrote : “Just happening right now. The traffic light at Avenor junction hasn’t been working for some time now. This is the result. This is why we protest.”
