Presidential aspirant Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that when voted into power, national executives of the party will receive salaries and social security benefits.

He made this announcement at the beginning of his tour of the Greater Accra Region.

In an innovative approach to internal party elections, Alan engaged with delegates from three constituencies in an open mini durbar at the Suu Astro Turf in the Ablekuma Central constituency. Delegates from Ablekuma South and North also attended the durbar. This move addresses the concern of NPP executives, members, and supporters who have felt neglected by the party and its structures while in power.

Alan Kyerematen believes it is time for the hardworking party members to reap the benefits of their dedication, which has contributed to the NPP’s success in national elections. As a result, he has pledged to provide salaries and social security for party executives.

This approach reflects Alan’s determination to run the party as a disciplined corporate entity, ensuring that members are rewarded for their efforts instead of treating party positions as thankless sacrifices.

Furthermore, the concept of a peoples’ assembly showcased the participatory governance that Ghanaians can expect under an Alan Kyerematen administration.

During the first leg of his Greater Accra tour, Alan was accompanied by party stalwarts such as former Attorney General Ayikoi Otoo, Minister of Railway and Rail Transport Peter Amewu, NPP chairpersons from the three Ablekuma constituencies, and Hopeson Adorye, among others.
