In Sunday’s 4-0 Dutch Eredivisie victory over Sparta Rotterdam, Ghanaian international Mohamed Kudus shone for Ajax.
On the left side of a front three, the gifted attacker made his team’s start in the Week 22 match of the Eredivisie today.
Even though Sparta Rotterdam is planning to surprise the home club, Ajax had too much talent and ran roughshod over the opposition at the conclusion of the one-sided contest.
In the first half, Dusan Tadic scored in the 6th minute to give the hosts the lead. Later in the game, a strike from Kenneth Taylor doubled the advantage for Ajax before the break.
While Dusan Tadic would net a second in the 64th minute, Mohammed Kudus also got his name on the scoresheet with six minutes to end the game to seal a delightful 4-0 win for his team.
The important victory has propelled Ajax to second on the Dutch Eredivisie standings. The team is now trailing the league leaders by just three points.
