Norwegian side Lillestrøm interested in forgotten Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey

Norwegian side Lillestrøm is interested in Vålerenga goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey accordig to media reports.

The former Black Stars goalkeeper is expected to leave his side by the end of the year after the club decided against extending his contract.

Kwarasey is angling for a move away from the club after fallen down the perking order since rejoining on a three-year deal in 2017.

Lillestrøm is keen on signing the former Portland Timbers shot-stopper who has been sparingly used this term.

Though both clubs have denied the reports, it is believed something is cooking up for a potential deal.

” There’s nothing going on. Had there been something going on, I would have been involved, ”VÃ¥lerenga sporting director ‘, Jørgen Ingebrigtsen told Norwegian newspaper

” That’s not true at all,” he adds

“I can neither confirm nor deny anything about player transitions at this time,” Lautritsen told Nettavisen.

The Ghanaian goalkeeper has six months left on his contract with the Eliteserien which will run out in December 2020.

Kwarasey who has been capped 27 times by Ghana, rejoined Valerenga in 2017 from Danish Superliga side Brøndby.

The experienced goalkeeper has previously played for Valerenga in 2006.

He has also had stints with Stromsgodset, Portland Timbers in the MLS, and Rosenborg BK.
