Marie-Claire Rupio, the late Black Stars player’s wife, has expressed sadness over the death of her husband, Christian Atsu.
In a tribute, the widow stated that since losing her devoted husband, her life has not been the same.
Marie-Claire Rupio stated that she would use Christian Atsu’s love as her example and that she would continue to love him even after he passed away.
“In life, I love you dearly. In death, I do the same. It breaks my heart to lose you. You did not go alone, for part of me went with you.
“Your love is still my guide, and though I cannot see you are always on my side. You were always so full of life,” she said on Friday.
The widow further noted that “I see you in our children’s smile. You are never really gone as part of you is within them. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. But as you always say, God win.”
