Yaw Dabo brings Arsenal agent to Ghana for player scouting

Ghanaian actor and football administrator Yaw Dabo has successfully brought Arsenal football agent Phil Antwi to Ghana to scout players for UK clubs.

The Arsenal agent arrived from the UK at Kotoka International Airport on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Yaw Dabo and fellow actor Don Little warmly welcomed him.

Phil Antwi’s visit focuses on identifying promising football talents in Ghana for potential development in Europe.

Yaw Dabo, recognized for his soccer academy’s role in nurturing local talent, expressed optimism about the opportunities Phil’s visit could bring.

He emphasized Ghana’s history of producing top footballers like Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey, who emerged through similar scouting efforts.

Dabo, passionate about his ambitions as a football administrator, has recently engaged in efforts in Europe to create pathways for young Ghanaian footballers to reach professional levels.

Phil Antwi, known for his connections with European clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal, plans to watch matches in Accra and Kumasi to scout players for overseas clubs.
