Yango receives transportation app of the year award

One of the foremost ride-hailing services operating in Africa, Yango, has been honored as the Transportation App of the Year at the recently concluded National Customers’ Choice Awards Ghana 2023.

The awards ceremony took place on Friday, October 13th, 2023, at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

Organized by KN Unique Communications, the National Customers’ Choice Awards Ghana aims to recognize business excellence by conducting a comprehensive, impartial, and precise independent market research survey.

This survey evaluates brand reputation, customer satisfaction, and business excellence in terms of service quality, value, professionalism, and integrity.

It provides a genuine reflection of the marketplace by representing the opinions of consumers and buyers from across the nation. The Transportation App of the Year award acknowledges a brand’s consistent delivery of high-quality service to its customers.

Yango was honored with this award in recognition of its dedication to creating income opportunities for partners and drivers while ensuring affordable, secure, and convenient transportation for riders.

Tom Ofonime, the General Manager of Yango Ghana, expressed his gratitude to all Yango stakeholders. He stated, “As a digital company, we are thrilled to be acknowledged for our hard work and commitment to offering the best transportation service to all Ghanaians through our app. We will continue to prioritize excellence in service delivery for all our customers. At Yango, we take pride in positively impacting the lives of our partners, drivers, and riders who use our app.”

Yango continues to make significant contributions to the transportation and ride-hailing sectors, benefiting various segments of the economy.

“We take all feedback from our stakeholders seriously, and as a tech company, we are constantly innovating and enhancing our app to ensure the safety and convenience of all users. It is our mantra to provide the best experience for everyone who uses our services through our apps,” added Mr. Ofonime.

The awards ceremony recognized several leading companies in different categories, including insurance, electronics, logistics, finance, and manufacturing, among others.
