Radio Presenter at Despite Media Group, Abeiku Santana, has elucidated why individuals who spend three hours watching humorous videos online are unlikely to succeed in life.
According to Santana, there are people who dedicate extensive time to viewing funny videos on social media, engaging in conversations and commenting on topics that contribute little to their personal development.
The radio host underscored that those who rely on social media solely for entertainment, without deriving any positive value, cannot aspire to achieve success because they are dissipating their time on trivial pursuits.
Abeiku Santana pointed out that social media can be a valuable tool in the current system, as some individuals effectively leverage it to generate income and obtain other advantages.
“We all have 24 hours but what do you do with that? Some people spend three hours on social media it’s not bad unless you are making money from there. But if you spend three hours on social media watching funny videos on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter then it’s dangerous.”
“You can go to WhatsApp chat and send videos for three hours. If you are still doing this in 2024, don’t expect any great future. Never take your present for granted because that is the foundation of your future,” he said while speaking on Okay FM.
In the modern world, social media’s detrimental effects are a big worry.
