A recent video surfaced showing Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, and his New Patriotic Party colleague from Ngleshie-Amanfrom, Sylvester Tetteh, sharing a friendly moment, dispelling earlier tensions in Parliament.
On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, the parliamentary session witnessed a dramatic confrontation between Agyapong and Tetteh, with the situation on the brink of turning physical.
Tensions rose when Tetteh attempted to leave, leading to a verbal exchange and Agyapong audibly referring to him as a “foolish boy.”
Deputy Majority Leader and MP for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, swiftly intervened, escorting Tetteh out of the chamber to diffuse the escalating situation. However, a subsequent video emerged, suggesting that the MPs had resolved their differences in the office of the deputy majority leader within the Parliament of Ghana.
