Video: Ghanaians steal spaghetti after truck overturns on Amasaman-Nsawam Highway

A truck carrying spaghetti overturned on the Amasaman-Nsawam Highway, which is currently under construction, resulting in significant traffic congestion and leaving commuters stranded.

The incident took place on Tuesday morning following a light rain shower in parts of Accra.

According to reports, the driver lost control while attempting to navigate the muddy and uneven road, causing the truck to overturn and spill its load of spaghetti.

A video shared on X by Edhub showed witnesses and commuters at the scene taking advantage of the situation by collecting the spilled spaghetti packs.

They used bags, sacks, polyethylene, and any available containers to gather the products.
