Ghanaian light-heavyweight boxer Seth Gyimah, popularly known as Freezy Macbones, triumphed over Ibrahim Labaran in the “Power of the Fight” match held at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
Freezy clinched victory with a fourth-round technical knockout after Labaran, who had initially appeared to dominate, was incapacitated by shoulder pain.
Labaran’s inability to continue the match due to his injury led to Freezy’s fourth win in his professional boxing career.
At 33, Freezy Macbones has now won all four of his professional fights, with three of those victories coming by knockout.
His only defeat occurred during his amateur career when he was beaten by Senegalese boxer Seydou Konate in August 2023 during the 2024 Paris Olympics qualifiers in Dakar, Senegal.
For Ibrahim Labaran, this loss marks his ninth in 24 matches, with his record standing at 15 wins, 13 of which are by knockout.
