Ghana’s football infrastructure receives a major upgrade with the completion of the TnA Sports Stadium in Tarkwa.
Built at a cost of US$13 million by the Goldfields Foundation, the stadium has a seating capacity of 10,400 and is expected to become the new home for the Ghana Premier League team, Medeama Sporting Club.
Pictures of the stadium, yet to be officially opened, have been circulating on social media, drawing widespread praise for its impressive design.

The facility includes roofing over all sections, including VIP seating, ample spectator seating, dressing rooms for teams and match officials, a media stand, ticket booths, an emergency medical room, and an electronic advertising board.
Moreover, the stadium is surrounded by a perimeter wall and an inner perimeter fence, equipped with floodlights for evening matches, and supported by a standby generator, ensuring essential facilities for both players and spectators alike.
