Video: Catholic Priest performs King Paluta’s ‘Aseda’ song word-for-word

A Roman Catholic priest has captured the internet’s attention with an impressive rendition of King Paluta‘s popular track, ‘Aseda’.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the priest, who leads St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Kumawu-Abodomase, delivered a vibrant performance of the song during the church’s offertory.

He was accompanied by the church choir and music band, and his energetic singing sparked enthusiastic cheers from the congregation.

‘Aseda’, a song by King Paluta, celebrates gratitude towards God, acknowledging His protection and blessings, and is cherished for its uplifting and relatable message. The song resonates across generations due to its powerful lyrics.

In a recent highlight, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah, and Dome-Kwabenya legislator Sarah Adwoa Safo were seen joining King Paluta for an impromptu acapella version of ‘Aseda’ during a bus ride, adding to the song’s growing popularity.
