Ghanaian politician and businessman Francis Asenso-Boakye faced criticism after failing to identify five government projects established by his own party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Hosted by Bola Ray, the interview put Asenso-Boakye on the spot as he struggled to name the projects when asked directly.
He mentioned the Kumasi Airport project but faltered in naming the remaining four initiatives.
In response to the issue, Asenso-Boakye cited the Kumasi Project, the revival of the Obuasi Goldfields, and ongoing construction at the Okomfo Anokye hospital.
However, his inability to provide a comprehensive list drew attention and criticism from viewers, leading to mixed reactions on social media.
“ Kumasi Project and the revival of the Obuasi Goldfields and the development it has created Okomfo Anokye hospital is under construction, it takes years to raise funds, the most important thing is that it has started and it would be completed,” Francis Asenso-Boakye stated.
With the upcoming general elections in 2024 intensifying, questions arise about the leadership and accountability within the NPP as the nation watches closely.
