Ghanaian actor Akwasi Boadi, widely known as Akrobeto, brought laughter to the audience, including the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, during the inauguration of the Jubilee Hall at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
Akrobeto’s comedic flair shone as he took the stage to commend the Asantehene for the impressive project. His humorous remarks and amusing delivery delighted the crowd.
Praising Otumfuo’s leadership and the construction of the magnificent hall, Akrobeto entertained the audience with his witty observations.
“Otumfuo has built a magnificent hall that accommodates 7,000 people. When he speaks, everybody listens globally. You can criticize him, but you cannot deny his supremacy. Even former president Kufuor acknowledged Otumfuo’s influence during his reign by seeking his counsel. He has done remarkably well,” Akrobeto quipped, evoking laughter from the audience.
The inauguration of the 7,000-capacity Jubilee Hall is among the numerous projects initiated by the Manhyia Palace in preparation for the forthcoming 25th anniversary celebration of Otumfuo’s reign.
