Crystal Palace chairman showers praise on Jordan Ayew for selfless devotion to club

Crystal Palace Chairman, Steve Parish, has commended Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew for his exceptional commitment and contributions during his six-year tenure with the club.

Ayew initially joined the Eagles on loan in 2018, later securing a permanent transfer the following year.

On Thursday, August 22, Ayew completed a move to Leicester City, marking the end of his time at Crystal Palace.

In a statement issued by the club, Steve Parish expressed deep appreciation for Ayew’s remarkable dedication and service to the team, highlighting the player’s impact during his stay.

“Jordan has been outstanding and selfless in his service for Crystal Palace, both on and off the pitch, not just with his goals and assists, but his all-round play, dedication, and willingness to do everything we have asked of him,” Steve Parish said.

He continued, “He has provided a fantastic example to his teammates, young and old. We therefore wish him all the very best with the next chapter of his career he will always be welcome back at Selhurst Park.”

Jordan Ayew has left Crystal Palace after scoring 23 goals and providing 22 assists in 212 appearances.
