Ghana Police Service has apprehended three individuals for possessing firearms unlawfully in Ofaakor, near Kasoa, in the Central Region, today, Sunday, June 2, 2024.
The arrested suspects are Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunnor, Mustapha Mohammed, and Abdul Aziz Musah.

They were traveling in a Honda CRV saloon car with registration number GX-2044-19 when they were apprehended near the EC Office in Ofaakor.
According to a Police statement “a pump-action gun with four rounds of ammunition were retrieved from the vehicle.”
The suspects are currently assisting Police investigations.
