The youth will get decent jobs from Mahama’s 24-hour economy – KOD

Media personality Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) has voiced his belief that John Mahama’s 24-hour economy plan will create decent jobs for Ghanaian youth across various sectors.

Speaking at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) campaign launch in Tamale, Northern Region, KOD endorsed Mahama, praising his leadership, vision, and commitment to the country’s young people.

He underscored the urgent necessity for a change in government to tackle the nation’s issues.

”Today, I stand in front of you with strong confidence that we may need that change, but we will get it. And that’s why I stand here today to endorse His Excellency John Dramani Mahama as the next President of the Republic of Ghana,” KOD declared.

Recalling Mahama’s political journey, he added, “before the turn of the last millennium, we saw him in 1996, serving his people in Bole Bamboi, I endorse President Mahama because he embodies the leadership and vision our country needs at this crucial time in our history,

KOD also lauded Mahama’s focus on youth and job creation, emphasizing his comprehensive economic strategies.

He encouraged young people to engage actively in the electoral process, highlighting their crucial role in shaping the nation’s future.

“I am confident that the John Mahama 24-hour economy will create decent jobs for the youth in all sectors, including the creative arts and hospitality industries. Even exciting is his promise to train one million Ghanaian youth and invest three million in ICT to create 300,000 more jobs,” he added.

KOD concluded by addressing the youth directly, “Is this the life you want? Reach out to your friends, everyone above 18, and turn out in numbers on December 7th to vote. Your participation is key to elevating this country to the next level.”
