Controversial Dancehall/Reggae artiste Shatta Wale in a recent Facebook Live session on April 15, 2024, issued a stern warning to his supporters.

He urged them to disregard entertainment programs that he alleges are conspiring against him.

The outspoken musician expressed his concerns about what he perceives as a deliberate effort to tarnish his reputation due to his decision to distance himself from the music industry.

He claimed that certain entities are spreading false news about him, citing allegations of disrespect and frequent insults as part of a plan to shame him.

“Don’t pay attention to any entertainment program; they have ganged up to sabotage me. Just because I said I don’t want to be part of the industry, they have planned to shame me by spreading news that I don’t respect and that I insult a lot. They don’t have money, which is why they are lying,” Shatta Wale stated during the live stream.

He advised his fans to stop tuning in to these entertainment programs, believing that doing so could hinder their personal growth. “Stop listening to entertainment programs; they will take you backwards. Build a life for yourself,” he asserted.

Shatta Wale invited his supporters to connect with him directly on social media for unfiltered updates, encouraging them to bypass traditional media platforms. “Throw your radio and TV away; the world is open now. If you want to listen to me, come on my social media. I will come on live and talk to you,” he announced.

This incident adds to a series of conflicts between the artiste and media personalities, with previous clashes occurring in 2023 when Shatta Wale engaged in heated disputes with pundits from the popular UTV show, United Showbiz.

Accusations of spreading false narratives and attempting to sabotage his brand were at the forefront of these confrontations.
