The Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has praised Kwesi Pratt’s positive assessment of the success of the STEM program.
STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, is an initiative introduced by the Nana Akufo-Addo government aimed at equipping schools with advanced technological knowledge.
The Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, spearheaded this initiative and emphasised its crucial importance.
He believes that in the coming years, the STEM program will produce students who are well-suited to meet the digital demands of the world.
Dr. Adutwum highlighted the shift towards digital methods in various aspects of life, such as the transition from manual to digital reading of electronic meters, showcasing the relevance of the STEM system in preparing students for an advanced world.
Expressing his delight at Kwesi Pratt’s acknowledgment, Dr. Adutwum stated, “I’m grateful for the progress we are making. The STEM program is designed to benefit Ghana and its people in the future. It is a commendable initiative by the Akufo-Addo government to prepare students for the challenges of the modern world.”
