Video: Jordan Ayew’s goal for Leicester City against Tranmere Rovers

Jordan Ayew showcased his exceptional form once again, scoring a stunning goal and providing an assist in Leicester City’s commanding 4-0 win over Tranmere Rovers in the EFL Cup on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

Ayew’s brilliant strike from outside the penalty area in the 38th minute set the stage for Leicester’s dominant performance.

The game, held at the King Power Stadium, featured Ayew as the primary forward, while his compatriot Fatawu Issahaku joined the action as a substitute in the 82nd minute.

In addition to Ayew’s contributions, Stephy Mavididi netted a penalty in the 51st minute, Wilfred Ndidi scored in the 71st minute with an assist from Ayew, and Harry Winks added the final goal in the 90th minute following a corner kick.

With this victory, Leicester City looks ahead to their Premier League clash against Aston Villa on August 30, 2024, hoping to continue their strong form from this impressive cup performance.

The win also extended Leicester’s unbeaten record against Tranmere Rovers, maintaining a perfect record with one win and no losses.
