Manchester United is reportedly considering a January move for Nice centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, as revealed by Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The team’s recent struggles, evident in a 1-0 loss to Newcastle United, have highlighted issues at centre-back for Erik ten Hag’s side, with injuries and poor form contributing to their challenges.
The Red Devils are eyeing Todibo, who has been a standout performer for Nice, conceding only five goals in 14 Ligue 1 matches this season.
Despite their interest in Todibo, it is emphasised that any potential deal would not impact the pursuit of Benfica’s António Silva, identified as Man Utd’s priority for the upcoming summer transfer window.
Silva, aged 20, has garnered attention for his impressive performances since breaking through at Benfica last season and is considered Ten Hag’s primary target for the summer.
