Isaac Kwame Asiamah, Minister of Youth and Sports on Saturday, September 29, 2019 accompanied by Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu MP (Dormaa Central) who couples as the Minister of Health and others visited the one of the 10 Youth Centres of Excellence located in Dormaa Ahenkro.
The Minister of Youth and Sports after showing dissatisfaction with the slow process at the site subtly commended Engineer Prince Baidoo (Contractor in Charge) on the good work done. “Wow I am very impressed” said the Minister, after He was taken through the 30 aside Washrooms, Dressing Room, Kitchen, space for Restaurant, Referees office and a hostel that can accommodate over 300 among others.
As part of supervision process, the Minister tagged the contractor to be sending him daily updates of progress of the site in a form of pictures and videos to him directly just so he can keep an eye on the project away from here.

The Multipurpose centre on completion can host about 25 different sporting disciplines, which shows clearly that Ministry is in fervently prepared to develop the grassroots as promised.
After the inspection, the Minister in an interview with the Media stated that not only is the place going to serve as a site for sports and recreational development but as a tool for the creation of job for the youth.
“Ghana has been serving the world over the years when it comes to sports and it is one of the reasons we won the bid to host the 2023 African games . We have put all the necessary arrangements in place as far as African games is concern, we have their offices ready for proper planning and launching soon.”
The sports Minister was pleased with the efforts of the President of the Republic of Ghana for his constant support ensuring that these projects come to reality.

Honourable Kwaku Agyemang Manu, MP Dormaa Central “There will be a Job centre here at the Dormaa complex when completed to serve as bridge between people who need jobs and to those who have vacancies for etc.
This structure when completed will also pave way for the people in and around Dormaa to exercise week in and week out as a way of keeping themselves fit
We are looking forward to hosting the African University games in the coming future” the Healthcare inclined Health Minister said.
Though the project is still under construction, the view from the top is one that must be can put be described “beautiful”
The Resident Engineer/ Consultant (Samuel Mensah) and Contractor Prince Baidoo told the media how pleased they are to receive such laudable applause.
Nonetheless, they are not going to feel complacent but rather put in more efforts to make sure the project is perfectly done and completed at the time due.
